Use this brightly illustrated poster to get children counting. How many windows are in the houses? How many kites are flying? How many people are in the bus, sunflowers growing, etc? Teachers’ notes and questions can be found in the resource ‘Maths 1’ from the January 2005 issue of Child Education. The poster can be used to create activities for the counting and estimating learning objectives from Reception to Year 2.
