Teachers’ notes: Cut out the pyramid pieces and give them to the children. Challenge them to put the pieces together to make a food pyramid. Explain that the foods at the bottom of the pyramid are those that you should eat plenty of. As you climb the pyramid, you should eat less and less of those foods until you reach the top foods, which should not be eaten very often. Talk about the pictured foods and devise a healthy diet for the week.
