Did you know that it is a different time of day in different parts of the world? This is because, as the world keeps turning, the sun is shining on the part of the world that is facing it.

Countries facing towards the sun will have daytime as the countries facing away from the sun are in darkness, having night time. As the world turns, countries change from day to night at different times.

Imagine that it is 2 o’clock in the afternoon where you have landed in Europe, what time would it be in one of the countries you visited in The Americas? Draw the hands on the clock when you find out and write a description of the time difference below.
