If you are reading a storybook, have any of the characters eaten some food? If so, what did they eat? If you are reading a non-fiction book, does it tell you about what people eat in that part of the world?

Imagine your food supplies are low and you are feeling hungry. Your plane has landed in the current world location of your book. Will you find food in a shop or in the natural surroundings?

Draw or cut out pictures from magazines of some of the tasty foods enjoyed in the location of your book. Paste your food pictures into the basket so that it is full, ready for the next stage of your journey.
