Our learning walk template focuses on the positive and effective practices noted during brief visits to classrooms and other areas of the school, or activities taking place within the school. ‘Walkers’ fill in those aspects of relevance and should be focusing on excellent practice in order to note what is working well. There is space to note the potential for future improvements in the final column. This template can be used for three visited areas. We make the assumption that no more than two or three ‘walkers’ are involved in a learning walk and that visits to classrooms are brief.
