People who help us – School crossing patrol – poem
Add to My Folder
Teachers’ notes: Read the poem through with the children, without telling them the title. Can they guess who the poem is about? The poem talks about the school patrol job (at its worst!). Were there any things that the person enjoyed about the job? How might the children make life easier for the school-crossing patrol?

my broken heart
In my heart i see it is broken
i give the other peace to you and you lost it
and last time you gave me your heart i put it away and used it as the other peace of my heart that you lost and in my heart i still remember i will always love you with my heart
