I would like more baby activities added please, a few years ago your activity guides used to add these and were very helpful as working with babies I feel there isn’t a great deal of professional ideas. Scholastic UK: We have had a few people ask about resources for babies and so we have commissioned a series of activity plans for children aged 20 months and under, it should be on the Resource Bank by the summer.

I am a registered childminder, who has been graded outstanding since 2008, - so at my last three Ofsted inspections. - From 2001, I used to subscribe to your Early Years Activity Bank and what a joy that resource was! It was such a shame that you stopped its production. I stll use the worderful resources, such as the photo cards, CD's and posters now with the children on almost a daily basis, and I use the activity planning every day. I really liked the fact that you recieved a month's worth of planning, well in advance and that it was linked to the Foundation Stage, and also that there were activities for babies also included within it. Personally I would love to see it resurrected again and would willing subscribe once again. As a childminder who works alone, so no job can be delegated to a colleague, and looks after mixed age groups,(babies to 4+ during the day, and then up to 11 before and after school,) detailed activity planning, with differentiation are such a God-send. Thank you, Frances Scholastic UK: The Early Years magazine has moved online and you can buy an online subscription to it here: https://resource-bank.scholastic.co.uk/subscriptions Member benefits include a new EYFS resource each week, detailed articles and lesson plans written by experts, videos and interactives, member-only offers and more.
