Science topic
Work on the following science topics can be carried out in the home, the garden or the immediate environment around the home. As much as possible, children should engage in tasks in which they:
- ask questions and recognise they can be answered in different ways
- observe things closely and use simple equipment
- perform simple tests
- learn to identify and classify items
- use observations and ideas to suggest answers to questions
- gather, record and interpret data to help answer questions.
