Poetry and rhyme

Winnie-the-Pooh was a bear who liked to spend his free time composing poems and ‘hums’, so there are countless opportunities in the Pooh storybooks to explore poetry and rhyme with your class. In the very first story (Winnie-the-Pooh and some bees) Pooh composes a little song as he climbs a tree to reach a bees’ nest.
