Making tracks

Encourage creativity and invite babies to explore mark-making without a pen or paper. Sometimes people think that mark-making begins once a child holds a pen. Actually, the mark-making journey begins from birth. Don’t dismiss the lines, circles and chocolate pudding track marks that babies make, value their creative attempts at taking their first steps towards writing.
