The focus of this simple and effective experiment is the exploration of air pressure and the force of the push it exerts. This activity works well with the class divided into small groups. Resources are minimal and are very simple to prepare. Now the investigation is ready to begin!

You will need per group: a plastic container with tight fitting lid; sticky tape; ballpoint pen; small lump of modelling clay; jug of water or access to water tap; large bowl to work over.
