Science Spies: Amplifying sound
Add to My Folder
For this fun science investigation, get your class working as Science Spies Lab Assistants. Their mission? Finding a way to amplify sound
This ultra-simple science activity is a fun and effective way of demonstrating the ability to trap sound waves and amplify the sound we hear. As resources are minimal for this investigation, the class can be divided as per number of old-style ‘ticking’ watches available.
You will need per group: one watch per group; several sheets of newspaper to roll into a tube.
