This new mini-series provides inventive ideas for activities that are geared towards each of the revised Early Learning Goals (ELGs). This week we look at the Personal, Social and Emotional ELGs.

Changes to this area are seen in the new ‘Managing Self’ ELG (which was previously found under ‘Health and Self-Care’ ELG in the Physical Development area), as well as ‘Self-Regulation’, which focuses on the way in which children deal with stress and conflict. Ignite children’s knowledge, experiences and thoughts in this area with the following simple activities.
