Revised Early Learning Goals: Expressive Arts and Design

This new mini-series provides inventive ideas for activities that are geared towards each of the revised Early Learning Goals (ELGs). This week we look at the Expressive Arts and Design ELGs.
The changes in this area are that ‘Exploring media and materials’ has been replaced with ‘Creating with materials’, and ‘Being imaginative’ has been replaced with ‘Being imaginative and expressive’ – focusing on children conveying their thoughts, experiences and stories through singing, role play and storytelling.
