What is the mastery learning model?
Mastery learning is where pupils are required to know, inside out, a learning goal before they move on to the next one. Teachers must teach a unit and then evaluate, through effective assessment, whether a student has achieved mastery of it. If they have, then the next steps are introduced, but if they haven’t, revision of misconceptions and areas of weakness must be tackled.

Some really great maths
This has been a great way of introducing maths to my children. I didn't know where to start but now I'm getting confidence. No surprise they are too. Really great.
