It’s scary stuff on the Darkside – do you think children are up for it? Do you think that your books are a risky read?

I make a habit of never underestimating what children can cope with. Judging by the bloodthirsty readers I meet, I need to crank up the horror even more! I don’t know about ‘risky’ – to me bungee jumping or rock-climbing is risky, not reading – but if my books make a reader look over their shoulder, or underneath the bed, I’m proud of that.
