Reading for Life
This spring sees the launch of the Reading for Life campaign by the National Literacy Trust, the Reading Agency and supporting organisations, including Scholastic. The campaign will continue the work of the 2008 National Year of Reading, to help improve the life opportunities of people in most need through reading.
One of the main key target audiences is pre-school children, so to celebrate this new reading campaign, we have provided some wonderful activity ideas based on the book Eliot Jones, Midnight Superhero by Anne Cottringer and quirkily illustrated by Alex T Smith (Scholastic), to tie in with this month’s theme of ‘Imaginary worlds’.
