french

In the first of this three-part series on French, designed to help you teach the language across Key Stage 2, the Johnson family are packing their bags to set off on their trip to France. For the Johnson children, ten-year-old Jack and eight-year-old Hannah, this is their first trip to the country. They have been learning French at school through games, role play, songs and rhymes, and are now going to have real experience of speaking the language. In this article the family pack their suitcases and then make the journey to France, by air, for their holiday in the Dordogne region of the country.
