Global Education
Add to My Folder
With greater interdependency between countries, children need as broad a view as possible of the world and their place in it.

Encouraging children to think about a global perspective should equip them with an understanding of the opportunities and responsibilities that come with global citizenship.
Global education works best when it is incorporated into a whole school, cross-curricular philosophy. Rather than being seen as an addition to the curriculum, it should be viewed as a thread running through it, incorporating eight key concepts:- Global citizenship
- Conflict resolution
- Diversity
- Human rights
- Interdependence
- Social justice
- Sustainable development
- Values and perceptions
