Take a look at some ideas to encourage KS2 children to read and write reports for information

When asking children to write a report, the intention is for them to locate and present information in a logical and structured way.
For children to get to grips with the features and structure of report writing they should first read reports and explore the language choices of the author, giving them a better picture of what is being asked of them as writers.
