D&T/Science: Lighting up
Add to My Folder
Eileen Jones offers some practical activity ideas for TAs who work with less, and more able children. This month’s focus is D&T – Torches

Design and technology prepares children for real-life challenges. It involves recognising and responding to practical needs; it also embraces change. This is a curriculum area that allows children of all ability levels to be not only users of products, but also innovators, by encouraging them to think creatively, suggest improvements, offer ideas to solve problems and put them into practise.
