‘When I first began to research Jane Goodall for Junior Education PLUS I knew her simply as ‘the chimpanzee lady’ – the research scientist who devoted over four decades of her life in Tanzania studying the social interaction of chimpanzees. The word ‘hero’ is often overused, but Jane has truly earned that title. She is dedicated to spreading the message of peace and hope throughout the world and encouraging people to recognise their power to make a difference.
