Launch an exciting topic on space with a themed assembly
You will need:
A collection of posters and images of astronauts including the Poster, ‘Astronaut’ a picture of the Earth from space; photos of the sky at night; atmospheric music such as Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss (part of the music from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey) or the theme from Star Wars.
