Characteristics of effective learning

Active learning

Children persevere when they encounter difficulties and enjoy their achievements.

Children thrive on physical and mental challenges. Encourage active learning by providing children with opportunities to investigate materials, make their own decisions, and work through problematic situations to find their own solutions – engaging and sustaining their interest for sustained periods of time.
