Brighten up you classroom with some hand painted French flags!

At Holywell Village First School in Northumberland, we decided to plan a French Week for our Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children, as a way of introducing modern foreign languages as part of a creative curriculum. We planned a range of activities for each day and the children moved around the activities in groups of six. The week culminated with a French party and assembly to show the rest of school what the children had learned.
