Stormy seas

‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter’ (available online) is a play that will need some exciting sound effects. These include spooky, sparkly ‘Time Travel’ music; the gentle noises of a calm sea; and a stormy sea! Ask the children to suggest a variety of objects that could be used to make tinkling, swishing and thundering sounds. How about bicycle bells, rainsticks and large wobble boards?
