Science Spies: Investigating pushes and pulls

In this latest instalment of the top secret science investigation series, we again ask for your class – working as laboratory assistants- to help us solve some tricky science problems on behalf of Science Spies, a secret science organisation fighting to save the world!

The Science Spies Lab Assistants are required to investigate the pulling force of magnetism. The following activity is a simple but effective way of investigating a pulling force – and is lots of fun too! It is low on resources, and the results can be easily recorded, making this a nice way to introduce the subject of pushes and pulls to a Key Stage 1 class.
