You will need

A collection of images to cut up into quarters (photographs from magazines are ideal, alternatively you can use the landscape photos shown on the activity poster).

What to do

Before the session, cut each picture into quarters and shuffle them. Make sure that you have enough quarters for half of the class. Sitting in a circle, give every pair of children a quarter of a picture. Ask them to look at it very carefully and try to work out what the rest of their picture might contain.
