The activities presented here enable children to develop literacy skills as they engage in projects that allow them to focus on things that are of particular interest to them.
Activity 1: Design your own bedroom
Children can let their imaginations run wild while building a picture story of their perfect room.
You will need:
- A3 paper or two pages of an exercise book
- Old magazines, furniture and toy catalogues, etc.
- Scissors
- Glue sticks
- Writing pens
