Add to My Folder

By Gillian Ravenscroft

Address the Working Scientifically science strand in Lower KS2 with activities which build on classification and observation skills developed in KS1.

Begin to use simple branching keys to distinguish easily observable differences and introduce pupils to the concept of fair testing. Practise reading scales using equipment such as force-meters and thermometers to take increasingly accurate readings which can be recorded in tables and bar charts.
