Learning objective: with confidence and positive thinking we can overcome ‘giants’ in our own daily lives.

You will need

The story of David and Goliath (see back of A1 poster); a small drawstring bag containing five small pebbles; a cut-out shield and a strip of card (for the handle) for every child; five cut-out card pebbles for every child.
