Number sequences: I can still remember them filling me with dread. I have images of my maths teacher writing some gobbledygook about the nth term, using squeaky chalk on the blackboard. Revisiting the subject as an adult, working logically step by step, it all now makes sense to me.

I now enjoy working on the concept with children on all ages – creating a positive experience of sequences for them early on.
