The Notting Hill Carnival, is the largest street festival in Europe, it was founded in 1964 by communities living in the Notting Hill area of London. Taking place every August Bank Holiday weekend, it is renowned for its exciting array of sights, sounds and tastes! Visitors from all over the world travel to Notting Hill to join in the colourful celebrations and to absorb the exhilarating atmosphere. The celebrations include a ‘Children’s Day’ with attractions and festivities designed to enthral young visitors.
