autumn leaves

Leafy circle

Rake or sweep up a big pile of leaves in your outdoor area. Make sure that there are no sharp objects among the leaves. With a group of approximately six children, make a circle around the leaves. Sing together or chant the following rhyme to the tune of ‘London Bridge is Falling Down’ as you lift up armfuls of leaves, throw them into the air and watch them flutter down to the ground.
