Ask parents to accompany you and the children on a visit to a nearby park. Invite your local dog warden to meet you at the park. Find a safe place to sit down. Ask the dog warden to talk to the parents and children about the responsibility that owners have to ensure their pets behave appropriately in public spaces. Do any of them bring their dogs to this area? Do they keep them on a lead? If their dog does a poo, do they clean it up?
