Create your own colourful display to help children to plan what’s happening in your setting

Visual timetable wall display

Young children take comfort in knowing what is happening, therefore creating a visual timetable of things that are taking place in your setting will help all youngsters to see, at a glance, the sequence of a session’s events. A sequenced timeline helps children to anticipate what will be coming next and can be a very powerful tool for breaking down steps and routines into understandable tasks. You can display activities and opportunities for play so that children can see and talk about choices, and begin to plan their day and learning, with the minimum of adult direction.

    Timetable Cards

I think these timetable cards are super however - I feel I would be unable to use them as they do not represent the mix of children in my class - would have been nice to see the images being more inclusive by having a range of skin colours e.g. light and dark brown...
A suggestions - otherwise I would defintley use if you could make some adaptations...
