Go ‘down under’ with these exclusive activities focusing on Australia
Australia is a vast country, with mountains, rainforests, deserts and coral reefs. Much of the wildlife is unique, for example, marsupials and egg-laying mammals.
Well-known Australian landmarks include Ayers Rock, the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Inland Australia is known as the ‘outback’, a huge, flat hot area where sheep and cattle are raised. Aborigines have learned to survive in these harsh conditions and still live a traditional life. Australian people enjoy a healthy outdoor life and surfing is a favourite sport.
