Take a look at the winning entry of our World Book Day creative-writing competition

'Stars Fell on Campeche'

Back in February ‘09, we launched an exclusive creative-writing competition to celebrate World Book Day. We challenged children to complete the exciting story, ‘Stars Fell on Campeche’, written by author of The Joshua Files (Scholastic, £6.99 PB), MG Harris.

We were overwhelmed by the response. We had so many entries that it took the Junior Ed PLUS team nearly a week to read them all! The standard was extremely high, however, Erin Rossiter’s (from St Wilfrid’s CE Primary School in Haywards Heath) ending really captured the judges’ imaginations.
