One of the most unusual but exciting resources you can introduce into a playground is a parachute. Parachute games can be used to encourage cooperative, non-competitive play, as well as reinforce turn-taking and sharing. Games can be highly imaginative and creative, which means they can be a lot of fun.
To help combat any fears and illustrate some active but controlled parachute activities, Hope Education, the UK’s leading value educational resources supplier, held a parachute activity day with a group of Key Stage 1 children from Tameside.
