Create a mini wildlife garden to link in with the famous flower show.

Hampton Court Palace flower show

The beautiful setting of Hampton Court Palace is reason enough to pay it a visit even without the spectacle of the world’s largest flower show. The first show took place in 1990, and although hot on the heels of the famous Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court palace’s show has quite a different character, focusing much more on environmental issues, growing your own fruit and vegetables and cookery.

Make a mini wildlife garden

Try making your own little mini bug haven; you only need a really small space to make a lot of difference. Any little neglected spot will do, and if you’re really stuck, use a grow-bag, you’ll be surprised how much wildlife this little area will attract.
