Whilst there are still many battles to be won – it’s largely agreed that gender equality is more prevalent in society today than ever before.

Campaigners Abi and Emma Moore believe that the changing views in society at large have not been matched in our toy stores. In fact, they argue, as part of their ‘Pink Stinks’ campaign, that the divide between girls and boys toys is wider than ever. They claim that recent years have seen a ‘pinkification’ of toys designed for our girls.
