The Honour List for the 2011 School Librarian of the Year Award has been announced.

The School Library Association created the School Librarian of the Year Award in 2004 in order to recognise the excellent work that is carried out in school libraries every day, and to highlight best practice through celebrating those whose work is outstanding.

This year there are three exceptional school librarians on the SLA School Librarian of the Year Honour List:
  • Helen EmeryLRC Manager, King Edward VI School, Lichfield, Staffs
  • Wendy RobertsLRC Manager, Ardingly College, West Sussex
  • Carol WebbLibrarian, Forest Hill School, London
